Two groups were given a guided tour of the church both inside and outside by Steve Cooper, one of the owners of the specialist company carrying out the renovations.

Steve has a passion for the conservation of old buildings and provided really interesting information about the work being done - the materials and processes. He also explained why the work was needed and showed us the impact of previous work that had not been carried out properly - intruding damp and rotting timbers and brickwork. Those attending gave very positive reviews of the tour with comments such as:
