Digging the trench for the 'Trench Arch System' of disposal for the toilet and mini kitchen started today under the watchful eye of the archaeologist.

The presence of an archaeologist is a requirement of the faculty (permission) from the Coventry Diocese in case there are any significant discoveries underground, for example intact bones. The only find was a small pipe for smoking made from bone.

The conservation building company carrying out the work also supported the church by turning over the soil and levelling the area where the Community Garden will be developed. Thank you.
