One of the activities in our bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, was to uncover overgrown gravestones, which had been laid flat and were covered with grass, and to carry out research into the people buried in the graves.

Thanks to the volunteers who removed all the grass and especially to Brenda, who carried out the research, we now have much more information about the people buried in our churchyard. You will find a map of ‘Graves 1 to 29 Uncovered’, together with the research, under Our Heritage on the menu bar - Gravestones.

Thank you also to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for enabling us to awaken interest in our rich heritage.
