An interested group visited St Nicholas today to see what has been happening over the past few months.

The plans for the building works were on display and the visitors could see the work done on the floor tiling for the new toilet, mini-kitchen and baptistry. The font really does look wonderful in its new location and the colour and pattern in the tiling throughout the south side of the church is beautiful. 

Outside, the visitors saw the north entrance porch without its roof tiles ready for its new roof and the various stonework repairs on the external walls and windows of the church. Different types of stone are being replaced with the same type of stone to protect the historical integrity of the building.
