Thank you to everyone who visited St Nicholas Church this afternoon for our Scarecrow and Craft event. It was wonderful to see so many people of all ages. The scarecrow ‘congregation’ was much admired, as were residents’ ingenuity and skills.

After counting up the votes, we can announce that First Prize jointly went to ‘Scarecrow Sam’ and the WI’s ‘Winnie’ with Second Prize jointly won by ‘Molly’ and ‘Scarekey’. Well done everybody.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped make the afternoon such a success and thank you, also, to our wonderful volunteer, who keeps our uncovered graves so beautifully, as she researches the families buried in the churchyard.
