Heritage Weekend 9 and 10 July 2022
Thursday, 21 July 2022
A wonderful Heritage Weekend saw people out enjoying the sunshine and visiting the Rural Crafts Exhibition at the church.
Thank you to Marton Bygones Museum for supporting us, to the blacksmith, willow weaver, canal art artist, Louise and www.noisylittlegoblin.co.uk for giving a historical interpretation, the scarecrow stall and the artwork produced, and the Women’s Institute for sharing knowledge and crafts enabling people to get involved. All the heritage crafts, stalls and games, together with the Maypole Dancing by children from Leamington Hastings Infant School, the Punch and Judy show and traditional bell ringing enabled people to have a lovely time. Thanks also to the National Lottery Heritage Fund whose support has enabled us to begin our long journey. We greatly appreciate your support. And, a big, big thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time. We could not do this without you.
